"I can remember in 1958, our troop went to camp for the weekend. It was mid winter, we stayed in a cabin on the Blackfoot site. We arrived there on Friday eve. It had just started to snow. Departing time was Sunday AM. There was so much snow, over two feet, that no auto could drive in for our pickup. The whole troop had to hike all the way out to Rt. 58 in the snow..."

"I just completed Week 1 (July 2-8) 2006 at Camp Squanto. It was great! As a "first-year" I am still working on the rank of "scout". Camp Squanto helped me complete Flight to Eagle (with Tom Cushing. You rock, Tom!!) and recieve the Mammals merit badge. Also, I earned four pie pieces (segmants) in one week: Indian Lore, Archery, Rifelry, and Hall of Fame. Thanks Camp Squanto!"
